Remove the snap ring (A) using the snap ring pliers.

Remove the cotter retainer (A).

Remove the 25.5 mm cotters (B).
4.
Clean the cotter groove of the driven pulley shaft.

Install the 25.5 mm cotters (A).
6.
Measure the clearance between the 25.5 mm cotters and the driven pulley shaft bearing (B) using a feeler gauge (C). Take measurements in at least three places, and use the average as the actual clearance.
Standard: 0?0.13 mm (0?0.005 in)
7.
If the clearance is out of the standard, remove the 25.5 mm cotters, and measure its thickness.
8.
Select new 25.5 mm cotters.

Install new 25.5 mm cotters, then recheck the thrust clearance.

Install the cotter retainer (A).

Install the snap ring (A) using the snap ring pliers.
12.
Check that the snap ring is seated in the snap ring groove of the driven pulley shaft.
13.
Measure the snap ring outside diameter and end gap.
