|
| | | Do not repair damaged SRS wiring, connectors or terminals. Replace the affected wiring harness(es). | |
|
| | | When replacing the front seat belt tensioner, check the front seat belt mounting portion for deformation. If any deformation is found, repair it as needed. | |

| | | Inspect all the SRS wire harnesses. Replace, do not repair, any damaged harnesses, connectors or terminals. | |
| |
| After the vehicle is completely repaired, turn the vehicle to the ON mode. If the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off, the SRS is OK. If the indicator does not function properly, use the HDS to check for the DTCs . If you cannot retrieve a code, do the SRS Symptom Troubleshooting. | |
| 2. | Headliner/Pillar Trim Overlap - Check |
| Checking and Adjusting the Headliner/Pillar Trim Overlap
 |
| To prevent the side curtain airbag from deploying and damaging the pillar trim (A-pillar trim, B-pillar upper trim, and quarter pillar trim), the overlap between the headliner and pillar trim must be 7.5 ?0/?3.0 mm (0.295 ?0/?0.118 in). To check the overlap, do this:
