Intermittent failure, the vehicle is OK at this time.?

Go to step 2.

Immobilizer system check:

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and check the immobilizer indicator.

Does the indicator blink once, then stay off?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 3.
     
NO

Starting system check:

Turn the vehicle to the START mode.

Does the starter motor run?

Go to step 4.
     
NO
     
     
     
Go to starting system, and check the starter motor.?

Try to start the engine with the immobilizer key.
